Good luck. It's the small shit that adds up though and makes you say WTF! You dont realize it when you start but, in the end you can spend close to the same cost on the small stuff compared to the big major peices.

Jason nailed it on the head with that one. I gave a good quoteon SF yesterday

expected cost for cheap turbo build (3rd gen specific)
turbo build $2000
monthly cost to keep running $300
Second car as a back up $$$$
TIME to spend on preventitive maintenance and troubleshooting aprox 2 hours a day and about 4-5 on at least one weekend day

You could really lower your costs by coming by and buying my 95 for cheap. Sure you wouldn't be doing a 3rd gen , but you'd be saving money....

lol, Yeah, I should come by and get some more parts from you. I did think about buying your whole car, It's just not what I want. I can't stand flip ups, and I want the 3rd gen dash. Ill let you know soon if I can make it out there again, kind of broke from driving to St. Luis this weekend.

I personally wouldn't go with a 3 or 2g due to Emissions laws. 1g = OBD1. Here in the land of Lincoln, no OBD1 testing.
