    What's the part called that bolts OUTSIDE the oil pan to the trans and block?

            Does the Mercedes supercharger your using have the electric clutch or not?
            Those C230 superchargers seems the perfect size for a Saturn. I've been thinking of using one on a similar project for years now. There's a video on the web of a guy who put one on an old MGB or Triumph. It sounded hot!

              yeah, its the one with the electric clutch. got the idea from a buddy who used one on a mazda MX6. it too sounded sexy.

                Hehe, this should be sweet! You could use the dual maps feature in MS to do this. Flick a switch and you're running the supercharger fuel map [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/cool.gif[/img]

                edit: durrr, just read that's exactly what you're doing!
                Great looking engine, btw!

                  thats the plan... the N/A map will be geared more towards fuel economy, while the S/C map will be all-out-mileage-be-damned power.

                      M62 (what im using)


                      M45


                      both from Mercedes. i believe the 45 was used on 98-02 C230's, while the 62 was 03+
