    Re: PurdueGuy's '93 POSL2 Q&A

are you planning anything for the interior and exterior of the vehicle (not mods necessarily) to clean it up a bit? Or are you just concentrating on getting the fucker to run

        Re: PurdueGuy's '93 POSL2 Q&A

I'll be cleaning it up a lot, and making it run. Not sure how much I'll try to fix broken trim pieces & stuff - I'll probably feel more motivated to do that once it runs well.

          thats pretty filthy
i think after you degrease the entire car
          inside and out
it will help you become motivated
i know thatll get me goin when i see an almost clean engine bay
and lots of empty interior space to store parts and tools

I would wear gloves before touching anything in that car.

                  Re: PurdueGuy's '93 POSL2 Q&A

I have about half the dash dismantled & cleaned now, and the engine bay wiped down pretty good. I'm pretty sure mechanically all it needs is a new valve cover, plugs, and wires. Might need a sensor or two. We had to jump-start the car when I went to look at it, but it's started itself every time since then. I'm still going to get the battery tested to see what CCA rating it can reach.

I'll look into new carpet, but the car will be a beater, so it may not get spoiled with new carpet. lol Maybe find some decent junkyard carpet? *shrug* We'll see.
