Haha! That's what everyone calls it. But it is like driving a street-legal shifter kart. lol
As far as internals go, the '94-'97 Miata 1.8L (BP) is the same engine that was used in the '92 Protege GTX GT-R AWD. It was factory turbocharged and normally withstood a constant 17psi.
Another little piece of info that I think is pretty cool, the GT2860RS, aka The Disco Potato, was also designed on the 1.8L Miata engine. It was supposed to be the turbo that powered the MazdaSpeed line of Miatas, but it made too much power, so they used some smaller turbo.

that new strut bar is prettynice, no offense, but it didn't look like the old one could really do anything with the towers so tall!

Thing must be a blast to drive.

I would def go with the widebody kit. It looks sick on the other car.

Thanks! The old one had some noticeable effects, one being that it drastically reduced the steering wheel shake that I occasionally got at higher speeds. However, with this new brace, it's gone and the handling is even better.

It's a scratched plan now because of cost and because I drive the car too much. I'm just keeping the flares I have now.

Personally I like the flairs... they're subtle and simple. Car looks good! Were the wheels you trying to picture on the blue car?

                    Thanks!

No, they're on the silver widebody. Just not a good enough shot to see them, but I can't find another picture right now. But 18's on a Miata is practically unheard of usually, especially at 10.5" wide, but they fit so well on his car.

So what are the linit on your stock internals? You must be pretty near the max. Do you have any plans on building the motor stronger for more power or do you have enough the way it is.
