Re: Xylaphobes 1995 Sc2
That's the one that I'm talking about. If I am not mistaken it raises the rod/stroke ratio and therefore reduces piston to cylinder friction and also increases "dwelling" at the top and bottom of the stroke witch lead to better intake and scavenging. The only reason that the 99+ motors did not increase in power was due to more constrictive port design in the 3 gen heads. I am also considering trying the twin intake cam mod because, if I am correct, it increases the duration for exhaust witch is something our motors need improvement on.

Re: Xylaphobes 1995 Sc2
You would require a custom crank for a stroker motor. That's a bit different.98 SL2m - Intake, Raceland coilovers, daily driver
94 SW2a>m - slammed and boosted 9 PSI - sloppymechanics.com inspired. Now owned by Importsdontlikeme.
94 SC2m - Build in progress, Ford EDIS, 720cc's, stock engine, MS2v3.57 7 on the road again

Re: Xylaphobes 1995 Sc2
It would be the other way around...and you are talking about piston speed. Something like 7K in a turd is around 8.5-9K on a b16.-6S Resident Mechanical Forensics member #001.
1995 SC2 Turbo 3.6L DOHC, 6sp manual, Ford 8.8 rearend running on MS3x.
1998 F-250 5.4L triton...stock.
