Yeah I'm going to put cams in it, but at the moment I had to cut them out of the plans due to the problem most of use suffer from....being broke, poor, out of money, etc.

I'm a college student with most of my college paid for so give it 3 or 4 months and I'll be ready to slap some new cams in it.

Are SDA's cams most likely the best?

And as for a flywheel, most people told me to go with out it and concentrate more on cams.

Yeah the cams will DEFINETELY help you out a lot more than the flywheel.
You will need a LOT of work to take an RSX-S, especially fi you want to race from a roll. Those cars are built for top end in mind and have pretty flat torque curves all the way up to their 8000rpm redline.

Eliminating your P.S. will help a bit too.

Yeah I know that its going to be quite a project, but it was one I was willing to take. I started out with a 79 Camaro (wow what a change for that to the saturn.) But the more I work on this car the more I love it. Plus ITS A SATURN. if it can take a car like that N/A then that is all the more awesome.

I'm modeling my build after the SDA saturn that got 14.2 all motor, and the only thing that I will be missing after this build based on the SDA car is Cams. Which is a big deal. But if I can just pull a 15.0 to a 14.8 then I can take my friend. (Being that 15.1 is his best run).

You'll be able to take him NA. Until he throws an intake exhaust and piggyback on his car. Then you're USC.

He's an idiot, he has an intake. But he says he doesn't want to add any more to it. Of course if I beat him then most likely he'll want to fix his car up. But oh well.

Lol. Yeah and there is a Civic Si decked out, Cavalier Z24 decked out, and an older supra right outside the garage (friends cars) .... Welcome to My Garage you never know what will be there next....

But yeah my best friends grandfather build that building and let me and Robert use it for what ever we like. The corvette is Robert's fathers (currently getting paint and fiberglass in the back), the Camaro is a friend's of mine (Putting the interior in for him).

But me and Robert both started with muscle cars. Robert had a 66 mustang and I had a 79 Camaro. But I got to tell you we both are now doing tuners and I will never go back. Muscle cars are not as fun on country roads.

                        Mine:

i think you need to know what your running first. stock type s run anywhere from 14.9-15.2 and it's hard to find one that isn't moded. you think your running around that? i'm not to up to date on what sl2's run but my guess is your probably running mid 15's. i say screw n/a and get a 50shot.
