  • ricer civic build.

    i bought a 95 civic ex to drive to work and keep miles off my cobalt. it needs a few things but its not bad for $1000 bucks. i just hope i can find parts for it rofl.



    so far i have replaced/repaired:
    rear bumper
    drivers headlight
    drivers headlight harness repaired
    radiator
    starter
    trunk
    tail light filler
    speedometer
    drivers door latch
    battery tie down
    intake pipe
    k&n drop in filter
    removed intake baffles
    repaired front bumper
    clean interior
    added a prelude e brake boot
    started cleaning the engine bay

    i just went to ebay for the first time... wow. now i know why everyone want one of these.

      yeah, i really hate the lack of aftermarket parts for the s-series.. but... just...can't....buy...honda...... :P

      but seriously ebay is teh shit for auto parts

            waits for the "some ass hole stole my car" thread. unless civics dont get stolen as much down there as they do here.
            1994 SL2 HCE auto Head Gasket is still good, just had condensation in the crank case.

                    yeah around here they get stolen no matter what they look like because they're worth like 4 times their complete value as parts. Its to the point now where if you buy a used civic part in new england its like an 80% chance its from a stolen car.

                          So you've got the RX7, Cobalt, and Civic now?

                          And as for Honda, the Detroit area is about as bad as it gets right now, you can't leave one sitting out anywhere even if it is 100% stock. They also sell for wayyyy more than they're worth. An 89 Civic Wagon with 200k miles just sold for $3000 on my local forum. Ridiculous.

                            yeah i plan on cleaning this one up, doing a couple cosmetic mods, and selling it for about 3 time what i paid for it lol.

                              first thing wire a killswitch to a clever location. Or wire your horn to the "on" position and to a switch, so there's no way they can be sneaky. nice find though! I was lookin and looking and there's nothing cheap and honda in Mn
