well i have a 99 sl2 i'm a noob i've been learking for a while now... reading a ton of stuff
here's a pic of my car

twin cam, auto, 205xxx miles
i was let go from my job and was getting a ton of shet done around my place and neglected my sl2.. it is the g/f's daily driver... i neglected to check the oil like i know i should (stupid oil eaters!) so one night the g/f comes in at her parents house and say's the car smelt hot and the oil light came on... F me so go out fill it up and later she goes out and starts it and it knocks pritty good so we drive it home and park it (maybe 5 miles) so been pricing things out and got a 94 for $250 + 50 tow to my house
pulled the motor out of my car

and then the donor car

i am planing on parting out when i am done... i plan to take the stock sawtooth rims becuase i have all 4 and sand or get them sandblasted and paint them a gunmetal or darker silver with blue insets to match my 99
this sat i pulled the motor outa the 94 and started pulling it apart,

i pull off the pan and all ajoining parts to get to the crank and the thing is in beautifull condition i was plesantly suprised by finding the bearings in the lozer end look almost brand spanking new!!!
so yeah progress will continue i hope to have that crank in my motor by the end of the week and to have the 99's motor back in running shape and back in the car by the end of the weekend
