For anyone wondering why I haven't gotten much done on my car in my build thread, here's the reason I wasn't able to get much done with my coupe redo/restoration project.

My truck took up most of my time, but for now I'm concentrating on the Saturn and won't touch the truck until next spring, only have a few more mods to add to the truck. I've shared some pics of my truck in the past, but I've done a lot more work to it since and figured I'd share pics of some of my one-off fabrication projects.

The mounting plate all tacked up and drilled for two lug nuts/studs and one bike U lock.












The tire mounted (and lifted off the bars) visually floating..

maybe it is just me but i like to be able to use the bed of my truck.

No, it's not just you, but this is a show truck, plus I still have use of my bed, I can add 6ft lumber underneath the mount if need be. And if I have the need to transport large objects I can use any one of several pick-ups, dump trucks, trailers that my family landscape supply company owns.

Thanks, I think, lol..well wish it were a diesel, only has a 5.3L V8 in it.
