    2001 Saturn SC2

127k miles. Automatic. Black. Swapping to cloth interior. Sunroof, mudflaps.

Picked this up months ago to sell after I put a new engine in it. Engine didn't turn out the way I wanted and it needed more work than I realized at the time.

Got rid of the turbo coupe, this will be the new one, with less go-fast as I don't have time to enjoy it nor tinker

Low compression forged DOHC with 95 head
    92 Header
    Progress/Kyb suspension
    Aluminum Radiator
    19mm Swaybar
    Energy suspension bushings
    Rear Hub Spacers
    Rear Disc swap
    Hawk brakes
    SDA engine mounts
    Stock clutch
    MP2 with LSD

That about sums it up. It'll be fun when I decide to whip it through twisty roads but it'll be less turbocharged than the previous one.

I bought it back again. It arrived on a car hauler this morning. I'll have time to check it over this weekend.

Finally got around to working on this more lately. I pulled the forged engine out and I'm swapping in a stock DOHC with SOHC pistons. I'm going to be using this as a backup/winter beater so it doesn't make sense to leave the forged engine in there for that. The forged engine will sit on the engine stand until some day down the line. The inside of the forged engine still looked good but I think the person that had it in the interim had sealing issues with an oil pan swap they had done resulting in a mess up the side, but that's easy enough to clean up before I store it.

Finally actually went out in the garage and spent some time on this yesterday.

As of last night it runs. What remains is to redo some of the fuel lines (leaking in the rear), exhaust, brake line, and wheels. That and add coolant, etc... but rebuilt engine sounds healthy and happy.

Yeah... it's going to get converted BACK to an automatic pretty shortly here..... I wanted to take advantage of the manual trans already being hooked up to be able to drive it and figure out what else may need attention in the suspension while it's in being swapped back...

Car is gone again. Traded it for someone to do flooring in my basement.
