Wow that's a killer looking direct port setup. Good job with the times, sounds like she scoots pretty damn well for what it is.

Nice wagon. I almost bought a zex kit like that but got a good deal on a NOS DP kit.

EDIT: why does it change N O S to nitrous when I type it? lol

        Welcome to the Sphere.

Always love to see another wagon, not sure on that dp setup though. Looks like the hood sits directly on the lines and I would be worried about a kink or any issues with cutting down flow. Also would be a bit worried about any puddling issues in the intake mani.

Love the idea of a project wagon, always wanted one myself.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the location of the ports

Yards in Sw PA, just outside of West newton...

The Hood and lines did come into contact, only when putting the car in reverse, before I installed the poly dogbones, now they dont hit at all, thanks for the comments, etc etc.. .now I'm gona work on getting it looking nice this winter, perhaps a coat of ppg or something shiney... I want bigger rims, but refuse to buy them, so I have to wait till something shows up in the yard. and Id like to lower it alittle... maybe some 215/50/17"s and a 2" drop.

215/50x17 is way way too large a tire. Try to get a 215/40x17, 215/45x17 or 235/40x17 if you want a little bit larger sidewall and width.

Are you trying that larger tire size to get throught the quarter in third?

I haven't run the 1/4 mile with my car in a couple years but seem to remember forth gear coming right at the very end.

I thought I could get away with it with my 225/50x16's but I was off by like 200-300 ft lol.

                      Re: Starr Auto, SW2 project

Not so much trying to make the 1/4 without hitting 3rd, I want the 17"s more for looks, and will probably still run my 15's for the drag... I had the tires from a set of Vault 17" wheels that were on a stratus in the yard, and they are like brand new, so I figured, they were the right price, this weekend I bought a set of 17" wheels for my satty, from a guy with a honda, who didnt have the money for new tires, so I gave him my stock 15" steels and 4 195/60/15's and 60 bucks, unfourtunatly, these rims are a product of neglect, at one point in time, someone sandblasted them and painted them bronze, then they were spray painted, neon yellow, then flat blacked, so I tried paint stripper first, then aircraft coating remover, now I'm down to haveing to sand blast most of the bronze color off.
then, I'm probably going to base clear them in either charcoal or argent silver.
