I was pretty sure he had MS... there was a thread about one that died then another about the one he was doing all the soldering on himself and hooking up...
I've been running MS for a long time now. SOMETHING happened, I have reasons to believe it was the previous detonation + instant 10 psi of boost from 25 in/hg vacuum at 5000 RPM and injectors that are too small.
The bearings looked fucken perfect though!

haha, well i'm pretty sure we both know it's NOT spark related because we were both running a slight variation of the same spark map, which we both know was very conservative. yeah, the first time the plug got hit, it bridged so it couldn't detonate further. i had 190 compression on that cyl after that (210 on all others) haha
yeah. let's go ahead and disregard the fact that this engine had over 200k original miles and stock 3rd gen internals. 187 whp was approaching twice the power output of a stock engine, was it not? And I'm pretty sure I didn't give a flying fuck about what happened to that engine as long as I could bring it over the 200k mark, which I did haha
Yeah i don't think it was at all caused by detonation. Daspirate road in it ask him if there was any signs of detonation!!! [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/cool.gif[/img] I had f-ing awsome power till i maxed out injectors and leaned everything out. Oh well live, learn and get bigger injectors.
