• my restoration/mod thread

figured I'd start a thread with working im doing on the car.

today I went to the JY and got a new valve cover and passenger side flipup cover. couldnt find a driver side one in good shape and sadly thats the one I needed more

I removed the flipups from the car and completely sandblasted & painted everything

    heres the results

How much pay for the cover? If you can find another in that shape I might be willing to pay plus shipping. I've got 3 and they are all beat up.

took the carpet out today to clean it. turns out it wasnt really dirty, but worth doing.

          after:

there was some surface rust on the driver floor, so I took a wire wheel and removed it.

tomorrow I will paint the floor, then lay down some dynamat extreme

got a bit of suspension work done. replaced all 4 struts, new front strut mounts, new control arms, and new outer tie rod ends. powder coated the drums, and also replaced the TAM.

car will be going in for alignment in the morning
