Why do you have mismatched wheels? Throw the stockers back on until you can afford a whole set.

Once you snug the collar up to the spring, your only supposed to give the collar 3 to 4 turns of preload after and that's it. More and you are going to start limiting your suspension travel. By throwing a massive amount of preload in, your only benefit is limiting travel, it's not increasing the spring rate.

The spring measures 8 inches.

I don't know how else to describe the amount I've tightened them down.

Today, Sunday May 25

Lessened compression on the front springs to 8 inches and got an alignment. This improved the ride comfort, I think I'll end up lightening the compression to 8.25" or 8.5" when I'm sure everything has settled.

"Oops" My Dads 1937 Jaguar, rolling chassis, anyone want to buy?

Post Coilover install:

Total drop: approx. 1.5 inches all around.
This is the first day to drive with agilitys, it is rough!!!
The front springs measure approx. 7.5"
The rear springs measure approx. 8"

Is this too much compression?

I started with the shocks all at halfway, and later moved them all to the softest setting. Meine ass!!!

I drew a red line at the top of the tire as best I could.

^Mods: WAI, SDA TB

My Dads friend, Jeff showing me how to port and polish.
6s2.jpg[/attachment:3qyulp9h]

The left two are ported, we stuffed the block with toilet paper, so that we didn't have to pull the engine.

He made a spacer to go in between the head and header to allow the AIR system to work and to provide clearance.(the header would not bolt to the block and provide clearance for the downpipe.)

Here is the spacer on a drill press with a fly cut off bit.
It allowed us to thin the 1/2" piece of aluminum down to 1/4".

StreetLegal's GoKart

This is a Project Build for high power naturally aspirated or possibly supercharged SL2.

Information on my car:

2002 Automatic SL2
Bought from Saturn dealership in 2005
Paid approx. $8,000 (I can't afford to detonate this car)
Got interested in modifying in February of 2008

My goals:
1. Make a 15 second car without doing any thing drastic like ripping out the interior.
2. Be able to smoke a couple Civics/ murder a couple Mustangs.
3. Remain a somewhat comfortable daily driver.(I needs the air conditionings)

Current mods:
Warm air intake with K and N filter
SDA throttle body
Two Koing helium light weight wheels

Just recently installed:
OBX header
Exhaust porting on block
Agility Coilovers
