Re: Waterboys 1st gen sc2 turbo build

Cool. Damn that turbo looks low though! But can't tell for sure. Can you take some pics of it in relation to the oil pan? Just curious how everything is going to drain. You don't want to be like Andrew who had to get an oil scavenge pump for his turbo because it was too low..

Actually upon closer look it seems like it's high enough! Awesome
I can't wait to see what comes out of it! Let me know if you need injectors. I got some high impedance 28# ones that will plug right in with no modifications to anything. I know you need low impedance, but high will work. They'll just act more like 26-27#. But for your initial goal of 5-7 psi they will be perfect.

damn turning off high speed to see the pics better!
oh fyi the turbo is gong to be mounted the other direction for the wg and dp to meet. out side of that everything looks good. the only part thats gong to pose a problem is the dp. which the cross member might have to me removed. ot the dp will have to curve around the crossmember. either way very workable.

Re: Waterboys 1st gen sc2 turbo build

Why not mount the turbo with the compressor facing the passenger side? That way the external WG port will face the downpipe, and the downpipe will be simpler as well. Oh, and the charge pipe won't have to cross over a hot exhaust.

Nevermind, I see why. The price you pay for a cheaper manifold.

not to be a dick but, shut up! the turbo is only roughly mounted at that point. if you read above i also already pointed that out to him. to which will be straightened out.

Not to be a dick, but chill the fuck out shithead, I didn't see your post.

Qualifying your post with "not to be a dick" is a dickly thing to do. Dick.

Also, there was nothing wrong with my observation. You may have read in his other thread about it that I hope it works out. So get of my fucking nuts.
