Oh i wasn't talking about the SL2 lol. Looks good though, glad to see the seat is all set up now. I'm sure you'd rape me on the 75 shot in SL vs SL, we'll see once i get my SC running though. Oh yeh you should clean your engine bay it looks a salt monster threw up in there haha.

              Re: DigitalDC89's '97 SL2 Nitrous build

yea, the seat is only being held in place with the rear bolts, so it slides around a little bit, lol.

we'll definitely have a go once your turbo turd is done, and my nitrous build is doine, should be interesting until you get into double digit boost, then you should win easy.

and yea, i really need to power wash the engine bay. i got salt and grime all over. i have an extremely minor oil leak (doesnt produce drops on the ground, just visible on the oil pan) that im hoping to discover with my current TCC removal adventure, lol.

I'm going to have to come down there and see this thing. You also have to take me for a ride so I can feel the power. Only saturns I have been in that aren't stock are my own.

well, with the recent issues im having with a ticking noise beginning once the car is warmed up, i will be buying an Autometer Electric Oil Pressure gauge to help monitor the pressure.

anybody have one of those custom made vent gauge pods they want to sell me?

DUde , the autometer gauge with the electronic sending unit is the shit! NO hot oil run into the car and I have one in the SW2 (that was supposed to be traded for). I LOVE that gauge! You can see mine if I can come down there some time soon.

                            Re: DigitalDC89's '97 SL2 Nitrous build

got my electrical issue sorted out. turns out the ground bolt on the engine-trans worked loose a little bit. cleaned the connections up with a wire brush, torqued it back down, and ive been problem free for 15-20 minutes with the car running.

when i got home from school, the car wouldnt even start again. so the loose ground was affecting the alternators ability to change the battery (due to bad ground). i had to do a reverse clutch drop (driveway is a small hill) to get it to run, but thankfully, as is good.

gotta pick up a set of allen wrenches to install the fitting for the oil pressure gauge in an oil galley plug bolt. waiting to buy a vent gauge pod for my wideband and oil psi gauge. couldnt figure out how to install the SDA manifold spacer, and i never got around to wiring up the WOT switch for the nitrous kit. but hey, atleast te car runs without any problems (aside from ticking at idle due ot low oil pressure)

anybody know of a good +5v source i can tap into? is there one for the radio somewhere?

Dude , you don't want a +5v source for the radio. You want a 12v. 5v is only for sensor references to the PCM. Do you have a radio sensor we don't know about?
