Exhaust parts have started to arrive, so let the welding begin!

not the greatest welds, but its sealed, now i need to find my damn wire brush.

2 1/4" gotta cut that expanded end off

    vroom vroom lol

Also started to clean up teh car, and see what a Mother's clay bar kit would do, left uncleaned, right claybar and wax.

Important part of the exhaust finished for now, waiting on 92 header to finish my part of teh exhaust then off the the shop to have the bends done. It will all be high temp painted to help make the piping last longer than it did on my 99 SL2. Not to mention it'll look a bit cleaner.

After a good cleaning, clay bar and waxin' looks good!

well today proved to be the biggest pain in my ass ever! got my new hub in and every single bolt had to fight on the way out even with pb blaster. 3 of the 4 hub bolts came out like a charm then i jynxed it by saying, hey these came out easy i bet the last one is gonna be a pita. and it was, rounded over so i took the cutting wheel to it then vice grips took care of the rest. There also was so much rust in that well, that i had to use a 8 lb sledge and hit it about 5 times before it flopped off of the rear knuckle.

At the same time i decided to do the suspesion swap from my old sl2 onto the sc. also the rear sps sway bar, yeah i have no links as of yet so there is a ton of body roll, other than the rear taking over 4 hours to do, the fronts only took 45 mins. no more hub bearing grindy noise, but the rear rotors are in need of replacement since they are warped and i think my drivers side caliper is slightly frozen so one of them might be in order soon too. Pics to come, once daylight does.

Re: Trashed To Track 96 SC2

Figure it's time for an update since my plans have changed quite drastically with this car. Got new calipers put on the back and then I couldnt build pressure worth a shit, so i pulled the master cyl. and will be replacing that here shortly.

Upcoming plans, rebuilt motor with .040" over bore, head P&P'd and decked .040", p&p'd manifold, geo tb, and havent decided on the twin intake cam mod or buy the sda cams. Just want to get some more power out of the dd before i call it outs for a little while, while i get some school stuff situated.
