Looks like a pretty solid start, looking forwards to lending a hand getting her up and running...
so, were gona have two german turbo saturns in the pittsburgh area, thats scary,
wonder when they are both going to get off of the jack stands.

welp. been mulling over some ideas and finally got some motivation that the garage is cleared out a bit.
gonna start on the wiring, and since this is gonna be run on a megasquirt with the ford edis setup, i started pulling out all the factory stuff.
gonna dig out the edis hardware, and order some custom plug wires and mount it on the side where the resivoirs were.

oh, and this is just a mock up engine.... final engine is still wrapped in plastik. awaiting rings and bearings. and hopefully ian is making me my intake manifold.

the think they call the rats nest.......

                look how simple this gets.......

welp, finally got some motivation to get her started again.

pulled out one of the preped blocks and popped a new head on.

got things mocked up and the down pipe welded in.

only clearance issue was the turbo intake is like 1 mm away from the back of the waterpump area.

but thats ok, i just gonna put a screen with a band clamp on her.

You could file that corner off, it's not like you need an a/c mount lol.
