ok so with my project im doing a N/A build for my car. Basically im not looking to kill any time or world speed records, i just want to have a fun DD. So i have a white 97 sl2 and i want to keep it in good running shape for a modified car. here are some pics.







as you can see i was at an autox and that is what im aiming for. I was thinking about fabricating my own strut bars, maybe getting some stiffer lowering springs, stiffer sway bar, and some motor mounts. Im working off a small budget so this will take some time to build, but in the end i think Project Angel will come out pretty nice. Suggestions are welcomed.
Edit: im also getting a spare motor from someone off of this forum to build up.

Welcome to the forum! For a cheap but decent handling springs setup I recommend the H&R sports on kyb struts if you're still on original stock struts. Strut bars are ok, but don't make a big difference especially in the rear. The biggest difference I noticed was adding the bigger rear sway bar besides a good set of tires, those will help a ton. Also make sure you're bushings are still good. If you save up enough coilovers are the way to go.

Thanks for the help with spring ideas, and i was planning on putting a strut on the front not the real lol. I was reading about bigger sway bars in the rear and i heard that a 16.5" was the best? any ideas on that? i was also going to get some new bushings when i got a new sway bar fopr the front anyways since the stock ones are going to be pretty worn out.

so turns out she needs a new passenger side cv axle but it held up during the drags last night. Going to go pick one up soon.
