Needs muffler. Is that 2nd video with all those parts you have listed above? And what's up with the super noisy lifter situation?

It has a 18" by 2.5" Holly glasspack on it. I'm not sure whats up with the lifters yet. They seemed to be quite soon after the we built her. The lifters may be dirty. We did use the .060 shims in the head from SDA. I ran that head on my 92, and i bent valves. We were afraid that maybe we had a spring issue that caused that. I am now thinking with the lack of problems with this engine, it was as simple as the bolt coming loose from the cam.

It does rev pretty quick....but +1 to a muffler, that would drive me nuts.
Oh, and on all my motors Ive built the lifters ticked like that for about 5 minutes and then went away. How long have you ran the motor?

Also I believe he is running 20 50W oil during the summer ( i do every summer) I am thinking thats the deal, mine quites rite the hell up once i swap to a thinner oil for winter.

I dunno i just watched the vid again and the lifter tik sounds way worse on the vid, then in person.

I am running 10 40 valvoline. The lifters do quite down once the car warms up. The engine still has less than 5000 mile on it also.
