This is pushed back a couple weeks while the rear end gets replaced on my truck....
Current observations about the firewall are that the heater core ports are offset by 3" different left to right between the LHD/RHD firewalls. Also that the LHD heater core and associated plastics are further toward the (standard) passenger side. I think I can keep the AC lines sealed and disconnect the plastic surround around it and replace it with the RHD box and heater core. Ideally I will keep the AC lines sealed up the whole time.
If it comes down to it I'll do a universal heater core kit and ditch the AC entirely.
The dash and pedal/steering column seem like they'll fit in there perfectly.
