  • Brad's 04 Subaru Forester 2.5XT

I purchased an 04 Forester 2.5XT back in October. As some of you know, this is the turbo version. Factory power is 210hp and 235ft/lb of torque. My goal is to get it close to STI power.
    Mods so far:
    STI cat back exhaust
    STI IC
    STI rear sway bar
    WRX struts and springs
    Silicon turbo inlet pipe
    Phenolic Intake Manifold spacers
    TGV flap delete.
    Auto Meter boost gauge

Going on this weekend.....Power Stop slotted and cross drilled rotors with ceramic pads. Before the bashing starts, I know that these are not the best brakes, performance wise, but I like the look and I'm not going to be thrashing the car.

                  This, I have heard lol.

The thing I love about Subaru is that all the aftermarket is good reputable aftermarket. And there are great ways to upgrade your car in a productive and quality manner. But everything is quite expensive.

Broke a sway bar bracket today. Yay. That's what i get for keeping the cheesy Fozzy ones on with an STI bar.

Which one broke? I'm still all stock here with upgraded front bar.

The rear driver side bracket. Not the end bracket that the end link goes to, but the piece with the rubber bushing that clamps to the frame. On the STI one there's the stand off from the frame and then the cup that goes around the bar has 2 bolts that hold it to the standoff bracket. On the Fozzy, there's the stand off and then the cup has a tab and 1 bolt like on the S-series saturns. The tab busted off. So I need the whole STI mount because the fozzy doesn't have to threaded holes for the STI cup to bolt too. I know this is a horrible description but I think you get the gist.
