are these just to accommodate larger tires, or is there a real benefit to making the rear end wider? I figured the front could benefit more, but I don't know too much about suspension

great price on the hrs kit, though. I'd pick up a set anyway just for a little side project to play with

I think he means you can't vote for the same kit twice. Example: I would buy 2X Hotrolled 1/2" kits, but I can only vote for 1. What you have there is # of people who want to buy kits, not the # you would sell.

Sorry if I made the poll confusing.

Intent was to vote as if you are adding kit(s) to a shopping cart. If you want two 1/2 thick HRS kits then place 2 votes for that. Thought I set up the poll to allow multiple votes for multiple choices but can't check or modify that now. No big deal. Just vote for the kit you want and then order as many as you need when I start asking for money.

Each kit can be done. Just need 25 requests to make a run for a particular kit. Looks like the 1/2 thick HRS kit is almost a go. I'll wait a few more days and see if the quantity goes much beyond 25.

Hub spacers just move the rear wheels outward. Mostly for looks especially on 1st gen sedans but all S-series cars have track width that is ~20 mm less in the rear. It will increase tire/strut clearance.

*edit* current results show 25 voters and 30 total votes so multiple voting appears to work in some fashion.

That's because you have people who would but 2 different kits. You can't vote twice for the same kit. I'm fairly confident you have the 25 you need for the HRS 1/2" though

It appears we have enough requests to move forward with 1/2 HRS. I'll start asking for money and getting names + shipping info in a few days.

Good News: Laser cutter says they'll be able to give me 50 lot pricing on the other sizes/materials so there is a good chance I can get those run also. (even though quantity is less than 25 at this point.)

Fastener FYI: M10-1.5x45 SCHCS are metric Gr-12.9 which is equivalent to Gr-8.

With how quick you had people jump on this, why don't you wait another week and see if we can just get a nice big bulk of people and possibly get discounts? I'll also be getting 2 of the HRS 1/2 sets.
