I was digging through the pile of parts I have laying around, and came across these. Just wondering if anyone wanted one or the other for themselves. They would be fairly cheap to make @ work.

Battery tie-down would look similar to the pic below (for Odyssey PC680 battery), only it would be made of 0.123" AL with text cut in the top. Obviously it would be a common width also... probably like 2"

IAC blockoff would look like this:

Re: Does anyone want: Battery tie-downs? IAC Blockoffs?

Sorry for the noob question, but whats the purpose of the IAC blockoff?

Because I hate the way the IAC is programmed. It likes to hold revs/slow revving down between shifts.

Text? What text? I'm certainly interested though.

Dunno. The laser can burn whatever text I want, so I'd probably put something there to keep it from being really plain.

Maybe AMF (All Metal Fabricators is the in-house metal shop)

                  Maybe something Saturn related

Maybe "Just remember, Travis hates you".

I could probably customize each one if you guys want, it doesn't add too much difficulty to my end.

why cant you just remove the IAC, extent the plunger, re-install to ensure its closed, and unplug the sensor?

I think you can do that. This way does allow adjustment of idle using the screw though as opposed to the throttle screw... not that there is much difference.

i guess this would be good for a third gen TB. the throttle screw is a tamper resistant 5 prong torx looking thing.

I just cut a groove in it with a hacksaw and used a flat blade screwdriver.
