• Center Vent Gauge Bezel (95-99) *Parts are shipped, still a few available*

Update 2/6/10 Parts are finished and the first sets are shipped. There are some available and will be offered at the buy-in price of $40 shipped. All are anodized in black.

My paypal is darkangel777 (at) snowcrest (dot) net

Please include your Name, 6S Screen Name, and Ship To address in the paypal transaction. If you do not want yours anodized please state that as well. These will be shipped via USPS.

These are the center vent gauge bezels that were designed by AR Designs. Bryan (funkeymonkey) was kind enough to share his drawings with me. I borrowed one of the original acrylic pieces from Corey (redhotftw!) to edit the drawings. I have fitted prototypes in my 96 SC2 and 97 SL2 as well as measured the original on a CMM to ensure these will fit your car straight from the machine. No finish work will be required on your end. Open box, replace center vent with bezel, add gauges, win!

I will be machining these out of 6061 T6 Aluminum. Price will be $40 and USPS shipping is included. I can upgrade to any Fed-Ex or UPS expedited service at a fraction of normal shipping costs. If there are 30 or more people I will cover the cost of anodizing these black. I will glass beadblast them for a consistent matte finish (this will also ensure a smooth and consistent surface for the anodizing process).

Please post if you want to be added to the list or if you have questions, etc. Just so there is no thread shitting, I am working on prototypes for the first gens but they will not be done until all the parts from this buy-in ship. I want these out in your mailboxes in a few weeks not months.

these look great! too bad I have, and like my ac too much to sacrifice it for gauges. how do these mount though? I may get it anyway if I can't find a better solution for my gauge setup

What are you talking about? That's the whole point of these gauges. They still allow airflow.

oh? I figured the slots were for cosmetic purposes. I didn't think you could run the ac with gauges in there. digi ones anyway. condensation buildup or something. iono. I'm a little high..guess it'd work for sure for mechanical gauges. about how much do you think it'd reduce airflow?

as for mounting though..does this plate just kinda wedge in there or something? not really seeing how it's going to stay in there. I guess I'm asking for a pic of it installed

ding ding, winnar winnar.
pressure fit. with no need for modification.
air still blows wonderfully through there.
only thing is it is now non-directional.
have had electronic gauges in there for almost two years now.

I wont be taking deposits until everyone is signed up and I get ready to order more material. If we can get 50 people I will be able to get material for less and the price would come down. I can cover the anodizing cost up to 75 pieces but I think even 50 is a stretch. Apparently everyone wants the first gens lol.
