Quaife buy-in - They are shipping out to us Thurs 9/10/09!!!

UPDATED INFO: The Quaife buy-in is happening now & ends May 2nd! Orders need to be in by May 1st! The cost + shipping is $1165 total unless you are living in New York and have to pay sales tax. The retailer is UltraRev and the person we are working with is Ray. Here is his contact info:

I will have an exact amount soon....depends on # of people on the buy-in and shipping will be added as well.. Also it is possible that if a person lives in the same state as the retailer that there will be taxes to pay.

Ok, we've got 15 people committed...the buy-in is a go! [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_twisted.gif[/img] Anyone else that wants in just send me a PM with the info requested in the 1st post of this thread. You've got two weeks (April 27th) before we start sending in the orders to the distributor. He will send the order to Quaife on May 1st. At that point it is done....you either got in or you're out. Thanks everyone for making it happen! I'm pretty stoked!

my business would prolly be able to do it . obviously both difs would have to shipped but we could do that . if you guys would want, i could talk to my bosses and see if they could maybe do like a group pice for it . lemme know what you guys think

I would do it myself if I had the press or any shop tool I would need. As it is, I can't bring myself to using a grinder to hanburger the rivet heads off. I'd be worried about damaging the gear on accident.

What kind of work are you in to? I assume a shop of some kind.

To be honest, I would be very reluctant to send out my $1200 investment to someone I'm not sure of. So please be sure you are capable of doing this kind of work before you volunteer.

oh ill be honest . it wont be me directly doing the work. my boss would be doing it. i work for a transmission shop. we are very well known in our specific realm of work.

UPDATE: The Quaife retailer we are going to be doing the buy-in with is Ray with UltraRev Inc. He will start taking orders & payments on April 25th thru May 1st. He will accept major credit cards, Paypal or certified cashier's check. If you are mailing in your payment (certified cashier's check) you need to send it in no later than the 25th to ensure it received in time. Once he has all of the payments he will send in the order. If you have questions please route them to me so we don't all hassle him with a bunch of questions of which many of them could be the same questions from different people. Once the order has been made please be patient as these items aren't sitting on the shelf waiting to be shipped...they have to be made and Quaife will have orders for other people before ours. This will take a few months, so expect that. We are close...very very close to seeing this happen. Everyone please have your ducks in a row and be ready to do this on the 25th!
