    I made up some pics; thought it might help some of you out. Its the break down of the input and output shafts for you guys...and the names of the parts.


    The pics are about 2mb a peice...8megapixel camera...so they should blow up pretty large if you click the picture in the links.

    Blocker ring/spring inspection (those d-shaped rings make it hard to get in one gear and don't hold it in gear (its slipps out))

      I'm viewing with tapatalk and the only picture showing up is the first one. Do the other pictures still work?

      Im almost positive my input shaft seal/bearing assembly is leaking on the MP3 in the wagon. I actually have one laying around in my garage (no clue where it came from) the seal looks good. Curious if anyone has changed one. Looks like it's pressed on from the bell housing side?

      If this thread isn't to be cluttered up with questions let me know. I'll create a new post.

        Yes you have to split the case, drive it out from the inside.
        87 Fiero: Long term project.
        00 sl2: cheap DD pls no mods.
        01 sc2: high comp build round 2.
        08 lmm: aux tank, custom alum tonneau, aux oil cooler, aux filters, plow
        18 Acadia: Family hauler.

            Clutch is slipping bad and I have a helical diff in that trans. I want to get it right so I can enjoy my new turbo with a newish clutch and not destroy it. It leaves a small puddle on the driveway after driving it. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

              Yeah if it soaked your clutch good chance the input seal / bearing ass it toast. It's pretty easy to change, just time.

                Support the center of the trans and use a press.
