  • Bent suspension, repairable?

Quick and dirty of it is a friend mangled her saturn and no longer wants to keep it. She'll sell it to me for 400 bux. 99 SC2 with good condition interior and engine / tranny.

    Problems:
front / rear bumpers need replaced
    both fenders need replaced
    both quarter panels need replaced
passenger side rear trailing arm is bent and needs replaced
(probably just replace the entire subframe back there)
the engine cradle where lower control arm connects is bent

I just want to make certain that it is possible to replace the entire engine cradle and ask how hard it is to do so. it LOOKS like i just need to unbolt the engine mounts + the four corner bolts and prolly some other lil pieces here and there.

the body itself (the metal not the plastic) is in good shape still, none of the mount points are bent or dented or mangled.

    Opinions? Suggestions?

that car sounds like its got frame damage. All the parts you listed are replaceable, but I'm not really sure its gonna be worth it. Especially if you go to put it back together and nothing fits cause it has frame damage somewhere.

buy it and part it. i agree with billy on this one. frame damage. if the motor is good, you will make back your 400 right away.
