    would you guys trust this timing chain kit? I will be ordering a tensioner from Saturn themselves to fix the oil supply issue.....

    it should be fine. but yeah don't use after market tensioners. how much is the t-chain kit from saturn stealership?

      i am not sure actually. i know that a tensioner is 43.77 with taxes.

        I chian kit from the dealer is like 120.

            they like to fail, then you loose oil pressure, then you toast a motor for a savings of about 20 bucks........

                good man...all the rest of the stuff seems to be OK, but the tensioner seems to be a problem

                    B4 you get a tensioner look over on SDA's site i think they sell that stuff seperate now. it may be cheeper.

                    EDIT* They are cheeper...you can get a tensioner for 22 and shipping.

                      Aftermarket tensioners also have a tendency to not put enough pressure on the swingable guide due to the oil hole being too small. SO under high rpm, you could jump a tooff or other bad stuffseses.

                        Saturnparts.net or .com....I always forget...has the OEM dealer set for $143 something. My dealer wanted $200
