    Did you change your oil yet?
    -6S Resident Mechanical Forensics member #001.

    1998 F-250 5.4L triton...stock.

    It was recommended about a month ago. Bad oil can cause valve train noise and cause rod bearings to go bad.

      Is the oil changed yet?

      I think you had a belt/tensioner chatter/rattle too. Has that been fixed?

        oil changes cost $20 max at a 10 minute oil change place... $20 vs. a new engine? quit driving it man

            1) 20 is the max
            2) get oil and a filter, it costs 10 to do it yourself
            3) if you can't afford one of the least expensive parts of owning a car maybe you shouldn't
