    just read this on qksl.com

it was in the store section for the act 6-puck

ACT 6-Puck: The only clutch worth
    getting. A pressure plate adapted
    from an SR20det Nissan motor
    because modified Saturn plates are
    simply crap. Clutchmasters/SPEC
    will ruin your thrust bearing.

my question is if your act had wore down your pressure plate surface and your flywheel surface is it possiable that it is causing enough movement to still mess up a thrust bearing?

it was the lack of oil pressure that killed that bearing. The ACT alone won't do that.

even the stock clutch can wipe out the thrust bairing if you sit with the clutch in at every stop light

yeah, but he doesn't do that.

He had very low oil pressure, the red deth light was on every day.

answer to your question I have no idea but I ran a clutchmaster for over 30,000 miles and did'nt have any problems. Would still be running on it today if it would not have been ruined during the engine change

Anyone remember way back, there was a guy that drilled a hole somewhere which put oil pressure right behind the thrust bearing?
