I see lots of people mentioning welding their diff pins, just wondering if anybody has before and after pics (if getting pics of it is even possible), I don't want to screw it up but it seems like a good thing to do.

I can show you an after. My diff on the left with a PG installed and the pin completely welded in.

Nope, just got it yesterday. The final piece that I was waiting for. It will be going in along with an ACT 6-puck clutch, turned stock flywheel (can't afford a Fidanza right now), DOHC engine swap, and GT28R turbo system. Lots of work about to start now.Comment

No, I had n20saturn do it. I don't remember what he charged, but it was a damn good deal for everything, that's all I remember. I've been buying so much stuff to get my turbo system ready to go, I don't recall prices. It would make me cry.Comment

turned and lightened are two different things. Turned = refaced, like a brake rotor.
lightened = materal was removed from the back to make it lighter.

Any way I have an extra Flywheel laying arround here and have been thinking about getting it lightened jsut to see what difference it would make.Comment

It's getting done here at the Ford shop I work at. Free flywheel work > buying a Fidanza right now.
