  • Car wants to stall....

    ok si every so often when I come to a stop from driving normal my car wants to stall. The rpms fall to like 200-300 and bounce back.

    What can this be?

    check your belt tensioner


    plugs, make sure wires are on correctly and tight...

        actually, we never changed your knock sensor did we?

        if it's any other sensor I have spares here

        the plug wires are on right [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/rolleyes.gif[/img] and the tensioner is fine

          thats right I forgot bout the Knock sensor, oh and yes tensioner is fine Vinny replaced it like a year ago waffles

            Is the EGR blocked off?

                  Car doing a new thing,

                  I notice that when i'm cruising every so often the car will give a jumpy hesitation.

                    when was the last time you had a stealership tune up done.
                    If Wal-Mart is lowering prices everyday, how come nothing is free yet?

                      You mean dealership tune up? well never cuz no warranty bought car used. Plus should not need one the engine has 5k miles on it.

                        lol if he brought that thing in to a dealer they wouldnt know what to do with it

                        Omar you working tonight? I can swap EGR or block it off and see if that helps, now taht Sam mentioned it it could be.

                          mine does this too... and my EGR IS blocked off

                          mine actually DID stall last night on one of it's low RPM drops

                            that might be the IAC for you Bri, but his should be good, it was when I put it on the throttle body I think
