HELP!!!

Car wont start when hot. anybody, u can hear the solenoid engaging but its like there isnt enough juice to turn the motor over. Im guessing bad conncetion or a bad starter. I can get in the car when its cold crank, shut off, crank it up, shut it off, etc... And it will crank everytime. I let it sit there and get hot shut it off and click...

starter for sure...replace it now or you will be push starting it to vatozone like i had to

Figured it was but i dont wanna go paying 170 plus dollars to correct nothing. Thanks guys. Looks like the bearing/ bushings in it lock up when it gets too hot and it siezes up.

same thing happened to mine man....just get the starter and all we be good lol...
i was push starting mine all alone everywhere i went for two days...the secret is let it roll down a driveway then start it in reverse [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/cool.gif[/img]

Replace the starter, and fix the leak coating your starter with oil (most likely the valve cover seal or head gasket.)

If your starter gets covered in oil, and gets that hot, it will damage the internals. I bet when you reach under there (when the engine has sat for 15-20 minutes,) that you can grab your starter, and your hand will come out looking like like the background of this website.

Oil was all over it. it looks like the pan gasket. My valve cover is fine.

I brake cleaned the shit out of everything and kinda packed some RTV around the exposed gasket mating surface to slow it down. I dont have the means to drop it and redo it right now both tool wise and I need more room to work... It slowed but i dunno how long. Im f-ing bandaging it rather than fixing it...
