did you remove your air "damn"(ha ha)? From the last pics I seen of your wagon it didn't have it on. That is one big thing you could do. Another would be to find an Evo kit for your car and use those 6" fog light holes to funnel air into the radiator and/or engine. But the CB hood s-icon once sold would look sharp on your SW, IMO. Try streetrix to see if he will make one that will fit.

you mean the air deflector that's under the car? that actually helps cool the car off more, removing it in some cases can cause it to run hotter.

is the thermo old? fan? water pump? make sure your cooling system is up to date.

header wrap might be good. Crinkle coat valve cover works good too. Or they sell Intake Wrap at Jegs to put on your itnake tubing that sounds like an idea to me. Or a heatshield for your shrot ram intake works too. C

Ceramic coating certain hot parts MIGHT work, but I dont know so if that sounds stupid, then dont mind me.

I wouldn't suggest wrapping it after the things I've seen in the past few weeks. the heat being held in the metal puts too much stress on it and causes it to fail.

maybe look into designing a heat shield for the header though

              I rike that idea!

And you could make it whatever color you want too. sounds good to me....

I would try crinkle coating your valve cover first though, that reduces temps like 10 degrees F*

Go on jegs and look into that intake wrap thing. I am definately going to look at that. I probably will buy my Wideband O2 from them too. Its only like 270$, as opposed to ebays 300+

look on Ian's site too for the WBO2. I know jegs had a sale and then was out of stock, dont' think Ian is though, but not positive.

get those hood spacers that bolt between the hood and the hinges that make it stick up, should be cheap as hell to make and allow air to flow out of the bay

IAN had a new shipment come in a month ago but was allready sold out (before it arrived) he said he had to raise prices due to manufacture rasing prices but I still love mine works great. I ordered mine and recieved it in about 3 weeks

A quick and free help (if you have not already done it) is to remove the rubber weatherstrip that runs along the steel edge above your firewall and below the hood. It just pulls off and will allow the air to move out from under the hood, like a cowl effect.

If you remove that it should help your temps a little. I pulled mine many years ago and rain is not an issue. Also, if you do this, there will be a wire running across there that you will need to secure (it runs from the dash to the passanger airbag sensor in the nose, so it's important lol) it or it will wind up hanging down into the engine.

i think it would be too hard to do the heat sheild.
you have the AC compressor right on top of header.

drill to 3inch holes in the hook and put fishing-pole holders in them so that the open at the header... then paint them yellow and say its the latest thing from japan whenever someone asks you...
