  • brakes...

    i don't know much about brakes...so that's why i'm here asking.

i was going into town today, hit the brakes aboout halfway (no where near the point where it'd lock up the tires...) and one of my back drum brakes locked up.

what are the different possibilities which could cause this?

yeah get disc in the back end... head.. bad pad... not setting properly... try going in reverse and hitting the brakes hard a few times... it will set the drums... it should even them out.

drums; could be a wheel cylinder or you might of lost a spring or something and the pads wedged themselves

when they're past a certain point you need to manually adjust them, not all that complex really
