who do you trust? the person that took 13 months of planing? or a run of the mill mechanic.

Geo let me put it this way:

would you rather have hot compressed air pumped into your engine, or compressed air that's been cooled and is more dense and less prone to detonate?

don't cut corners on this. the original plan was for an intercooler, and with good reason.

intercooler= more power on same boost level with less timing retard.....

nah, I wouldn't use and inter cooler, but an interheater , now your talking. Strap that bitch to the exhuast pipe so you can heat the ari more, and then you can make all that pressurem but not really have any more air then n/a...then you could retarf the timing like 40 degrees, and run a supper cool a/f ratio of like 9:1 to help stop detonation.

        Choices get harder everyday....

colder air = denser air = less detonation = less chance of a kaboom

            stick with the IC

If you knew anything about tuning, you'd see a few jokes laced in there..

Yes, run an intercooler. Take it from me, you WILL detonate without one, trust me.

IMO you MUST run a intercooler.
