I would have to agree on the motor, but at least it died while your roof was CLOSED, it usually happens while it's open or half lol.

It could be contacts on the switch and the frame has a tendancy to break but judging by the sound you are talking about the motor is the best bet.

LOL My sunroof is leaking like crazy but I am too lazy to get it fixed at the moment. So far it has only leaked out in the trunk and not the inside of my car I need to take it to the dealer and have them fix it.

Honestly, that is probably why you are having trouble with it.

Well i did talk to the dealership and they told me i would have to pay half of it. I migh just take it up there and let them look at it and tell me what it is. If it cost to much i wont even worry about.

There are a few problems with the SATURN sunroof...

One, it's mostly plastic. You can get a better one from http://www.sunroofdoctor.com

Two, the drain plus are retarded. Fix those fast. It's a pain, but worth it. The plugs at the end only have 3 tiny slits in them to let water out. Either someone was high on crack when they designed that, or wanted it to eventually fail so you would come in and get all new shit.

Third, the drive motor was designed by a 3 year old. The gear that drives the arm cables does not sit in well, and will eventually wear down, causing the gear to really not make adaquate contact with the gear to move the cables. This is what causes the constant clicking (unless you broke an arm or cable, in which that will be the problem). I am currently trying to find a cheap fix for this. I need a broken motor though to work with, cause I don't feel like taking mine out again. I managed to fiddle with it before and get it so it didn't click, but eventually that didn't last long. The gear on the motor needs to be about 1/8 of an inch larger or something like that.
