• my ion...flooded

theres was a serious rain last week, saturday in mandeville, la...

well i was in it and wound up on a street that got flooded...

my engine is hydrolocked
and
my interior needs to be replaced. it was like, a little above my ankle in the car...

state farm dosnt know if there gonna total the car out or not.
but if the engine needs to be replaced, i heard that they will total tha car if it needs a new engine...this true?
right now its at Saturn of Metarie...

who do yall think?

and if they do total the car, i wanna buy it back and drop a new engine in it, what site carries ecotecs for the ions for cheap?

also they dont total just cuz it needs a new engine, i worked at a body shop and we had 2 cars that were flooded during the huricans that needed new engines, one was a brand new jetta, and they had to wait like over 6months for it cuz it was so new that we couldnt get interior for it, and then when they got it back it was stolen within a week, and was back at our shop getting more work done, i would have been begging them to tottal it lol

if the damage exceeds the current value of the car, then they will total it out.

get a hold of Green Monstah, I think he might still have a few Ecotecs ready to go.

exactly. it doesnt matter what has happened to it, if the replacement of the damage exceeds its value, then its totalled.

but hey, if they total it, i bet anything if you buy it back you will get it fixed and pocket some money and be driving it again. of course you get to go through the whole salvaged title shit , KEEP RECEIPTS!!!!!
