  • Engine problem... CRAP!!

Ok i was cruising home on the highway tonight on my way home doing about 75 then my car just died, tach dropped etc. tried to restart but all it did was crank, at first i thought fuel pump, nope i can hear it turn on when it put the car into run. After about 20-30 mins of just hanging on the highway it turn over and started so i continued on my journey then about 5 mins later it died again, and yet again 20-30 mins later it started, but i had a tow truck on the way didnt go anywhere it woulda taken all night to get home at that pace.

What could this be? im thinkin the ignition control module but thats me, what do you guys have to say??

id say belt tensioner took a dump on you.

my car drove fine then everything dimmed and car died when i touched the brakes. i drove like 150 miles or something pretty much on just a battery. i had the car towed home, and was able to start it and pull it into the garage. so your case sounds the same

it is what the coils sit on, the coils is what is on the other end of ur spark plug wires
