when i hit a bump the right front makes a clattering kinda rattle.is it the strut or the brakes?

its a saturn it will never be quiet...
umm mine did the same when i hit bumps... its prolly your top mount where the bearing is... thats what happend on teh SL

well, i doubt its the brakes, unless someone messed with them and they are loose. strut mount possibly. craddle not tight (shouldnt be a problem unless you have dropped it and didnt get it tight), engine mount busted, tie rod, steering rack loose. it can be quite a few things.Ian---The Fat Ass

well all 4 struts have been bad sense i bought the car [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/biggrin.gif[/img] but it never made any noise untill this weekend.ill check it out tomorrow.i still laugh when someone says performance and saturn in the same sentence.Comment
