power steering pump

does anyone know if the power steering pumps are pretty compatible throughout the years? i have a 93 sl2 and i have a power steering pump from a 96 sl2. can i put the 96 pump in my 93?

07 Redline w/ stuff.<br /><br />89 Civic hatch w/o stuff.<br /><br />96 SL2 that dont need stuff.
