• Hawk HP plus brake pads???

Are Hawk HP plus brake pads made for our cars?

• #2
They are not. That's the pad I want to run in the front on my car, nowhere to be found anymore.

From the link I posted above:

EBC lists their Saturn front pad with a part number of DP2839. Other vehicles with a matching part number include 93-94 Nissan NX (2.0 ABS), 91-94 Nissan Sentra (2.0 ABS). The part number on EBC rear pads is DP21609, and several other vehicles with matching part numbers include 95-97 3.1 Monte Carlo, 2000 3.1 Monte Carlo, 94-96 2.8 and 3.1 and 3.1 Turbo Grand Prix.

no as in they need no modifications. lol sorry man. what about the rear pads-monte carlos use em? wow, those cars must have bad braking power if they use the same rear pads as us. well nevermind, rear brakes arent really that important anyway

Ok, after some searching I've found that Hawk no longer makes a front pad for the '91 - '94 Sentra, but they do make the HP Plus front pad for the non-turbo Eclipse (HP PLUS Part# HB213N.626) which works for our cars with minimal modification.

See Lane's explanation of how to do that here:
http://www.evilplastic.com/hbpads.htm

Here are the part#'s for the Monte Carlo rear pads:

HPS Part# HB232F.681
HP PLUS Part# HB359N.543

Good team effort on this one....thanks for the info guys.

Just got a set of these in (front & rear) along with a set of Cryo-Powerslot fornt and rear rotors. I'll let you know what I think after they are installed which won't be for a few weeks yet.

What compound did you get front and rear?

I am dying to do HP Plus front and HPS rear soo very badly.
