i dont remember correctly but i think vinny was talking some type of bracket that compresses your springs, and you can make them loose to go back to a stock height. I think he said something about the mustang ppl doin it and you were going to try it.

idk maybe i just invented this and thought i read something like that before. but would it work?

hope youve got plenty of good friends to help you work on your car when you lose a hand or something putting a c-clamp on your springs....

try getting some spring compressors... theyre pretty cheap

i can't imagine that running around with spring compressors on your car could possibly be good for it. hit up ebay and get yourself some springs, do it right instead of cheaping out and damaging your car or as exhempknight mentioned getting injured. you'll just have to do it again if you do it wrong anyway.

they prevent weight from being lifted from the drive tires by restricting the motion of the suspension

Geo, the only thing I remember Vin talking about recently that had to do with temp suspension changes, was the "drag bags". The bladders that go inside the rear springs and are used only for 1/4 mile launches.

Clamps is never a good idea man, although I have seen them used many times.

It wouldn't help to compress your springs in any fashion. Whatever device that would be for that would be under serious pressure everytime it bounce past the compression level. I wouldn't want to be within 40 feet of that piece snapping off and launching in a pissed off direction.

I hope this idea doesn't really exist, because that's worse than cutting or heating springs. This idea makes me cringe with fear.......
Fixing a Saturn can be like reaching into a bag of scorpions and hoping for the tootsie roll.

AMR coilovers w/pillowball mounts, AMR FTB, AMR RST, Quaife, ACT clutch, HR con rods with JPC max bore pistons, Thermal exhaust, Hotshot header, AEM CAI, and I just want to run around tearing my cloths off, screaming beligerently, and spitting, and twitching, and foaming; because its finally done.

yep. they sell these retarded things at advance auto. You put them on your springs and it compresses them an inch or two
