• S-Series traction bars....

Alright yall listen up! Me and Ian The Ashon are gonna try and make some traction bars for the S-Series. We dont have details right now, but by the looks of it, it may be sonething you bolt to your stock LCA or we might make a tubular LCA to go with them. Anywho, we are trying to guage intrest in these and will prolly only make them if we have enough people saying they are for sure in for a set. Price is up in the air right now, so if you are gonna say "I'll have to see the price" Please dont answer on the poll. We need Yes, and No for now. Thanks!

I'll have to see the product....if that looks good, price will be less significant.

If all goes well, obviously I'm in.

      Typical Saturn owner response

I would be interested. I'm sure price will be fair, after all, Teh Ashon as always done good for us and the Saturd community!

I'll be interested in the summer when I'm out of college. No money now, but I'd pay any reasonable price for them.

Im kinda confused on this. On a Honda, the traction bar just bolts to the frame and to the control arms.

On our cars, our front sway bar does the same exact thing. I'm pretty sure that traction bars would help improve the bracing of the control arm, but how much of an improvement are we talking about?.

Like monstah said, its gonna be quite a bit. You have to remember that the sway bar and the LCA are on bushings, yes some of you may have the poly bushing but its still gonna flex. And with suspension as you know, a smal flew down on the LCA translates to a huge one once it get to the tire.

Umm... just use steel washers instead of poly bushings???

I'm guessing your real goal is to decrese wheel hop?

I'm just curious... what would it be like to have an s-series with the new amr coilovers w/ front pillowball mounts, front and rear strut tower braces, aftermarket rear sway bar, possibly the sl/sc1 front sway bar, suspension bushings upgrade, the solid endlinks from funkeymonky on PR, sda dogbones , an earthshaker type tam, and a traction bar?

Is that more of an "Image that.." type statement, or a real question? Because I'm pretty sure no one can answer it.. yet.

I don't think you can run a traction bar and a front sway bar at the same time.

That is one of our goals yes. But we are also trying to make it help you auto-xers/road racers as well.

Were gonna find a way to keep the sway bar as well, we've got a few ideas

Thanks for the interest guys, keep it up!
