What's the torque for the nuts on the strut tower mounts?

I cant give you an exact # but I am 90% sure it was less than 35lb. ft. (memory wants to say either 23, 26 or 33 ). I always just tightened it up till I felt comfortable with it.

Yeah don't put too much muscle into it. I hardly thought I was and I broke one of the studs while putting a strut tower brace on.

I thought it was 26 as well. I'll just go with that. when putting on the brace do I have to jack the car? seems like if I am on flat ground that they shouldn't shift at all but I don't want to have my struts collapse on me

assuming you're talking about a standard strut tower brace, then no, there's no reason to lift the car, you can do it on the ground.

as for the torque, I always just zipped then down with an air ratchet and then tightened them without air till they stopped moving.

yeah it's done. i just tightened them with a ratchet till they were nice and snug and didn't force them any farther
