I have a pair in the garage waiting to go on my car. Will probably wait till after the Maine winter is over to put them on, tho. I'll definitely post a review when I do. I'm running Hawk HPS pads and stock rotors now, and I'll swap just the rotors so I can compare them directly.

Yeah, I thought the same thing - MUCH cheaper than Powerslots, and only a couple bucks more than the Brembo OEM replacements. Gotta try! Also, a buddy of mine had these on her 95 Jetta GLX (VR6) and spoke very highly of them, never warped and such. If they didn't warp on a VERY front heavy Jetta, that bodes well for the Saturn application, since stock rotors warp if you breathe on them the wrong way...

It has a listing for rears.

The listing for front and rears will be on the right side of the page.

My bad, you're right about the rears. I didn't look because my car has drums.

Saturn front rotors "warp" due to shitty pads from the factory and improper bed-in procedures. Chances are if you are using a properly bedded performance pad, you'll have a hard time warping them.

Rotors warp from one thing, and one thing only....heat. A heavier thicker rotor has the ability to store more heat energy, so the temp of the rotor doesn't get as hot..

If you don't want warped rotors, you can do 3 things

                      1) Start stopping sooner so that the heat build up is more gradual, and some heat is dissipating from the rotor as you are slowing.

                      2) get a crossed drilled rotors to help get air movement threw the center face of the rotor to help it cool off better

                      3) Get a thicker, or larger rotor that can store more heat energy in ti.

"Warping" is not actually what people think it is. It's a bump left on the rotor surface from the pads by what ProDarwin said, improper bed-in procedures. Also shitty pads will get too hot along with the rotor and also cause the pad to leave deposits on the rotor. It is caused by heat, but not the rotor itself warping.

I had the Powerslot rotors with Hawk HPS pads front and rear on all summer and after closely following the recommended bed-in procedure, I tried to warp them with no luck. I pushed them WAY past where the stockers warped and I even got zero fade.

                        Good pads and rotors FTW!

And when I hear about people just wanting to replace just the pads cuz the rotors are "fine" or vise versa, good luck getting em to last or work well. It's all about getting good components and mating them together properly is key.

^^^ Yup. What he said. I really didn't want to go into detail, but thats essentially the case. Unless you have some serous modifications (FI), its going to be hard to push the stock rotors past the failure point if you have good pads (READ: not from autozone) and proper bed-in (As scotty indicated, its best to bed in a set of pads and rotors together, although sometimes you can get away with just one or the other). That being said... the slotted rotors may still offer some advantage for those who

It's in the way you drive, too. Lapping a road course is much harder on brakes than driving to work. Chances are you're not threshold braking from 115 to 45 once per minute for half an hour during your daily commute (and if you are, stay the hell away from me on the road, will ya? )
