any uni-suspensions gurus out there....wondering if these would work for the ions....they are made for the cobalt....but i figure same body....same parts interior?? i know some guy on here has a cobalt,and if it's two door,would u measure the interior?

That looks like a neat mod there. There was somebody on the RL forums a little while back selling some form of frame stifferners that basically welded onto the bottom of the car, running down along the sides. Not sure exactly what they were called though. This definitely looks like it would do something similar, possibly not quite as effective, but much simpler to install too. Looks cool, keep up posted.

IMO, you don't need that floor brace at all. that's more of a "oh look what I put in just for the sake of doing it" type modification. I'm sure I can handle as well as you would if not better without that thing in there.-Vinny
