  • KYB GR-2 in da works

So I pulled the KYB's outta the box to find they are strapped with a piece of plastic band. Should I just cut it? I really am confused to why it is there. I will be installing these finally on friday

Just cut it. Its to keep them compressed for packaging/shipping purposes.

Yeah, it will not hurt anything. Just cut it, it will slowly decompress.

That's for all four. It comes to something like 17x.00 shipped, and it's well worth it. I ordered from the same guy, and the struts came well packed and in perfect condition with smooth operation.

sleeve type coilovers suck, unless you're not concerned with performance, ride quality or tearing up your struts...

True. You get what you pay for. I would;nt consider a coil over unless its was realy expensive. Not saying I want to blow money, but REAL coil overs just COST $$$.
