Hey I have a 2004 QC Ion with 44k miles. I had to bring my car in around 20k miles to get new bushings on my car cause it was making loud "thunking" noise over bumps. now when i go over a bump with one wheel, either side, no matter how slow i go over it there is a noticable clicking sound from under my car (middle front axle area). Any suggestions? Is this something every Ion owner has to go through? And would this be under warrenty if i bring it in cause I'm real low on money right now. :?:

if you are still within milage for your warranty bring it in and bitch about it big time so they actually get it on a lift to inspect it.
there's a chance that the bushing clamps weren't tightened enough, or the tab on one simply popped out of the frame slot. if you need to you can fix this yourself by taking both wheels off the ground and removing the wheels and wheel on at least the driver side. if it's under warranty though just have them do it for you.
one way to check is to leave the car on the ground and reach up and grab the sway bar with your hand and try to push and pull it toward the nose and tail of the car. if it makes that noise then you have your culprit right there.
